At the Dental Practice on Baldeplatz we offer gum grafting and soft tissue grafting to improve the look of the gumline, hereby protecting tooth roots from sensitivity and pain. With the Pinhole Surgical Technique™, we use specialized instruments to loosen the gum tissue, then carefully reposition the gums to cover exposed roots. This non-invasive treatment for receding gums was developed as an alternative to traditional cut-and-suture gum grafting techniques.
Improved healing with the use of a patient’s own growth factors (PRGF™)
Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF™) is produced from your own blood. The plasma portion is separated into a concentrated platelet rich portion used in surgery. For more than 15 years, growth factors have been used to improve wound healing in various areas of medicine such as surgical orthopedics and plastic surgery. Thanks to the use of this procedure, wounds heal much faster and thus enable a complication-free recovery after surgical interventions.
